Global Rhythms at MVNU

It was an honor and a pleasure to host the Miami University Global Rhythms Ensemble at Mount Vernon Nazarene University last night. Getting to work with Global Rhythms is always a musically fulfilling experience for me, but it’s also an opportunity for me to see friends of mine from all over the world. This concert, in my opinion was one of the best the group has ever presented, and I was thrilled to have the program presented to the MVNU student body.

The program included the amazing choral arrangements by Dr. Ethan Sperry, awe-inspiring dance performances choreographed by Tami Robinson and Molly Soat, performances of classical Indian ragas by Siddarth Nivas, Benjamin Martin, Meera Seshadri, Perinkolam Chandrasekaran, and Srinivas Krishnan, and drumline virtuosity by James Sparling and Jeff Queen. It was truly a privilege to have been able to help bring the group to MVNU.
